The common causes of moist and blurred eyes include conjunctivitis, keratitis, chronic dacryocystitis, etc. Different causes are treated in different ways, and common treatments include general treatment, medication, surgery, and so on.
1. Conjunctivitis: As the conjunctiva is congested and edematous, it stimulates the lacrimal gland to secrete more tears, and the secretion obstructs the vision, so there will be a feeling of moist and blurred eyes. When there is more secretion from the eyes, the conjunctival sac can be rinsed with saline as prescribed by the doctor, and at the same time, topical application of eye drops can be applied according to the condition for treatment, such as levofloxacin and acyclovir eye drops.
2. Keratitis: when inflammation of the cornea occurs, it can affect the transparency of the cornea, causing blurred vision, and also stimulate tear secretion, so it feels wet. Need to consult a doctor in time, infectious causes of keratitis, can follow the doctor’s instructions for local application of anti-infective drugs, such as tobramycin, ganciclovir and so on.
3. Chronic dacryocystitis: After the blockage of the tear duct, the tear fluid is stagnant in the tear duct causing bacterial growth, resulting in persistent tearing and a lot of yellowish-white secretions, and the eyes feel moist and fuzzy. Antibiotic eye drops, such as levofloxacin, can be used as prescribed by the doctor. Surgical treatment can be taken to re-establish the intranasal drainage channel to relieve the blockage, such as tear duct removal.
If your eyes feel moist and blurry, and you can’t find any relief after resting, or if you have other discomforts, you should consult a doctor in time to find out the cause of the problem and take regular treatment, so as to avoid delaying your condition. Drugs should be used in conjunction with the condition under the guidance of a professional doctor, do not blindly use their own medication.
