A white discharge from the armpit area may be considered as tinea cruris. It can be white, yellow or red in color, but mostly white. The secretion adheres to the armpit hair and is usually difficult to wash off with water. If you want to treat it thoroughly, it’s best to shave your armpit hair, wash it locally with 1:5000 potassium permanganate solution, then apply sulfur ointment topically, reduce exercise, don’t eat a spicy diet, reduce sweating, and keep the area dry to help the armpit ringworm heal as soon as possible.
