It is impossible to singlely judge that laryngeal cancer patients can live for more than 10 years at most after surgery. It needs to be decided by combining various factors such as the severity of the patient’s condition, his/her physical fitness, and the treatment measures he/she has taken.
If laryngeal cancer is detected in early stage and in time, the cancer cells can be completely removed through surgery, and the patient goes to the hospital for regular checkups and pays special attention to body care after the surgery, then the survival rate will be higher, and the patient may live for more than 10 years or even longer.
If the condition is more serious and the cancer cells have already spread to the surrounding tissues and organs and metastasized, and after the cancer cells are removed through surgery, it is still necessary to take further comprehensive treatments such as radiotherapy, chemotherapy, targeted therapy and other treatments to control the development of the disease, the chances of surviving for more than 10 years may be lower.
