Lung cancer is a common malignant tumor of respiratory system, which is clinically classified into four stages. For very early stage lung cancer, there is a chance of cure. For patients with stage 3 lung cancer, all of them have localized lymph node metastasis, although they can be surgically resected, the recurrence rate after surgery is relatively high, so the chances of cure for patients with stage 3 lung cancer are very small. Therefore, it is recommended that people above middle age should have regular medical checkups and quit smoking and drinking. If early lung cancer can be detected, the chance of cure is higher.
