What not to eat with creatinine

Patients with renal insufficiency and high creatinine, we should pay attention to the diet and medication, firstly, we can’t eat food containing too much sodium, such as pickles, salted meat and so on, and we can’t put too much salt into the cooking, because it will lead to too much sodium intake, water and sodium retention, which will lead to oedema to increase the damage or burden on the kidneys. Secondly, generally speaking, patients with renal insufficiency are prone to hyperkalemia, so they can’t eat some potassium-rich foods, such as fungus, banana, nuts, tomatoes, walnuts and so on. Thirdly, patients with high creatinine can not eat some drugs that may lead to kidney damage, such as banning gentamicin, streptomycin and other drugs with strong nephrotoxicity, as well as avoiding the use of some non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs and so on.
