Can you ice a granuloma?

In the early stages of granuloma, ice can be applied to relieve swelling and promote the improvement of the disease; however, medications are still the treatment of choice, such as antibiotics to inhibit bacterial infection and glucocorticosteroids to reduce the inflammatory response. Eyelids are usually caused by bacterial infection resulting in inflammation of the blepharoplasty gland, which manifests as redness, warmth, pain, and lumps. In the early stage, if the eyelid has been red, swollen and hard, and the pain is obvious, ice can make the redness and congestion of blood vessels within the lump contract, reduce edema, and at the same time have a pain relieving effect. In addition, antibiotic eye drops or eye ointment such as levofloxacin can be applied to inhibit bacterial infection and control the progression of inflammation. In case of severe inflammation, glucocorticosteroid drops such as dexamethasone are recommended to reduce edema and ease disease progression. The treatment of emphysema is recommended to go to a regular hospital and consult a professional doctor for medication, so as to avoid serious consequences for the eyes.
