The original point of the Kidney meridian is Taixi, which means the place where the original qi of the internal organs passes through and stays.
Taixi is located in the ankle area, in the depression between the tip of the inner ankle and the Achilles tendon, deep in the posterior tibial artery and vein distribution; there are the medial cortical nerve of the calf and the tibial nerve. It has the effect of strengthening the waist and knees, nourishing Yin and tonifying the kidney.
It can be used to treat kidney deficiency such as headache, dizziness, sore throat, toothache, deafness, tinnitus, etc.; irregular menstruation, spermatorrhea, impotence, frequent urination, etc.; lumbar spinal pain and lower limb coldness, swelling and pain in the inner ankle; asthma, chest pain, hemoptysis, and other lung diseases; thirst, frequent urination, constipation; insomnia, amnesia, and other evidence of deficiency of the kidneys and essence.
