There are many reasons for liver cancer patients to vomit, the common ones are decreased liver function, adverse reaction of chemotherapy, intestinal obstruction, brain metastasis and so on. 1. Decrease in liver function: Liver cancer patients’ liver function decreases, followed by decrease in digestive function and vomiting, which is often accompanied by symptoms such as loss of appetite, indigestion and abdominal distension. 2. Adverse reaction of chemotherapy: when liver cancer patients undergo chemotherapy, due to the side effects of chemotherapy drugs, especially the adverse reaction of gastrointestinal tract, which affects patients’ appetite, patients may have the symptom of eating and vomiting. 3. Intestinal obstruction: metastasis of liver cancer in abdominal cavity and intestinal tract will lead to intestinal obstruction, which is typically characterized by abdominal pain, abdominal distension, vomiting and stopping of gas discharge from anus, and patients will vomit after eating. 4. Brain metastasis: after liver cancer patients have brain metastasis, it is intracranial occupying disease, and then patients may have symptoms of increased intracranial pressure, and may have jet-like vomiting after eating. There may be other reasons for vomiting after eating. It is suggested that patients should go to regular hospitals to evaluate their condition and follow the doctor’s instructions to cooperate with treatment, so as to control the progress of the disease and improve the prognosis and quality of life of patients.
