How to raise awareness of rectal cancer

The early symptoms of rectal cancer are not obvious, and even if there are obvious symptoms, they are not characteristic of the disease, and they are very similar to other diseases of rectum, anal canal and colon, such as “hemorrhoids” and “enteritis”, so if there is a lack of vigilance, it is easy to misdiagnose. On the contrary, if you are vigilant and go to the hospital in time, you can improve the chances of early diagnosis, so that you can get timely treatment and a better prognosis. If the following signs appear in your body, you should be alerted. ①Anemia of unclear cause. ②Sudden weight loss. ③Abdominal distension, abdominal pain, indigestion, and loss of appetite. ④Lumps in the abdomen or anus. ⑤ Bleeding in stool or black stool. ⑥Pus and blood in stool or mucus and blood stool. ⑦Changes in stool habits, increased frequency or diarrhea, urgency and heaviness. (8) Alternating diarrhea and constipation. (9) Change in the shape of the stool, thinning and flattening or with grooves. ⑩A swelling prolapsing from the anal area or multiple shaped polyps or papillomas are found. Patients should go to the hospital for examination, anorectal finger examination, fecal occult blood examination, endoscopy and x-ray examination if necessary.
