Costochondritis is mainly associated with trauma, exertional injuries, pathogenic bacterial infections, etc. It can usually be treated with drugs such as NSAIDs, antibacterials and glucocorticoids.

2. Antibacterial drugs: such as cephalosporin and penicillin. Antibacterial drugs can be used to treat costochondritis caused by pathogenic bacterial infection. Patients who are allergic to cephalosporin and penicillin are strictly prohibited from using them.
3. Glucocorticosteroids: patients with severe local pain can use glucocorticosteroids such as prednisone for closed treatment. Pregnant women should use glucocorticosteroids with caution.
