What’s with the chest pains?

Chest pain from lifting hands can be physiologic and can be associated with symptoms after exercise. Excluding physiological factors, it is related to local tissue abnormality and the pulling of surrounding tissues. Common causes include rib lesions, lung lesions and breast lesions. 1. Physiological factors: mainly after strenuous exercise, the thoracic activity is intense, the respiratory rate increases, and a large amount of lactic acid will be produced by the muscles after excessive tension, which will cause related symptoms. 2. Pathologic factors (1) Rib lesions: common ones are costochondritis and rib fracture, etc., which will cause pain and discomfort if they are locally involved in the process of lifting hands. (2) Intra-pulmonary lesions: the most common ones are tumors in the lungs and pleurisy, which cause irritation to the pleura, and lifting the hands will drive the chest wall to move, which will cause related symptoms after local activities. (3) Breast diseases: mainly including breast hyperplasia, fibroadenoma and breast cancer, etc., which will cause local pain and discomfort during activities. If the symptoms of chest pain caused by lifting hands continue to be unrelieved, it is necessary to consult a doctor for observation, confirm the cause of the disease through clinical examination, and carry out standardized treatment under the guidance of the doctor, so as to avoid delaying the condition.
