Is there a relationship between rib ectropion and anterior pelvic tilt?

There is no relationship between rib ectropion and anterior pelvic tilt.
Rib ectropion is more common in infants and young children, a few are due to rib deformities, most are due to a combination of the lowermost two ribs not being directly attached to the sternum, and the infant’s breathing pattern. The main manifestation is that the lowermost ribs extend beyond the outer edge of the body when the child is lying down. Most are not pathologic changes and most improve on their own with age.
Anterior pelvic tilt, on the other hand, is a natural state of the pelvis to adjust the body’s center of gravity and maintain balance. Most people have anterior pelvic tilt, and abnormal anterior pelvic tilt is mostly associated with abnormal function of the spine pelvis or lower limb structures.
The occurrence of rib ectropion is generally not related to anterior pelvic tilt, and it is recommended to consult a medical professional if there is any abnormality.
