Normal lobules are not defined by size and are structural units of the breast with individual variations in size.
A normal woman’s breast consists of 15 to 20 lobules, each of which is divided into 20 to 40 lobules. The lobules are the structural units of the breast and consist of 10 to 100 follicles. The number of follicles in each lobe varies greatly from individual to individual, and their size has no particular clinical significance.
Normal lobules are soft and without hard lumps. In pathological cases, hyperplasia or gravelly hard lumps may be present, and the clinical manifestations are hard lumps, tenderness or distension when the breast is palpated.
If any of the above breast abnormalities occur, you should go to the hospital for diagnosis by breast ultrasonography, and then follow the doctor’s instructions for appropriate treatment.
