Does milk cause acne?

The medical term for acne is “acne vulgaris” and there is no definitive research to suggest that milk causes acne. Cow’s milk refers to the milk from female cows, and currently includes three types of milk: whole milk, high-calcium low-fat milk and skimmed milk. Milk contains protein, calcium, fat, carbohydrates, vitamins, trace elements and cholesterol. The ratio of calcium and phosphorus in milk is appropriate, which is very favorable to the absorption of calcium, and its cholesterol content is low, and rich in vitamin B and vitamin A, which is very beneficial to human health. However, some people have lactose intolerance, such as diarrhea, stomach discomfort and other symptoms after consuming milk, it is not suitable for consumption of milk. Currently there is no clear research that after drinking milk will grow acne, acne should be timely consultation, follow the doctor’s instructions for treatment and regulate lifestyle, avoid staying up all night, light diet, and so on.
