Eating ice cream during ovulation often has no effect on the body. Even in the case of a planned pregnancy, the sperm and egg unite during ovulation and do not immediately enter the uterine cavity, so there is no effect on the fertilized egg’s implantation. Because ice cream is cold, it can cause vasoconstriction, which in clinical practice can lead to contraction of the uterine muscles and may affect the fertilization of the egg. During the ovulation period, the fertilized egg cannot be fertilized immediately, so eating ice cream does not have much effect. However, if you have chronic gastritis or weak stomach and intestines, it is better to eat less ice cream to avoid recurrence of the disease. It is also recommended that women eat less cold food in their daily life to avoid discomfort.
