High uric acid may cause gout, which is called paralysis in Chinese medicine, and can be treated with some herbs, such as Tiger Balm, Plantago Ovata, Poria cocos, etc. There is no such thing as the best herb for lowering uric acid. 1. Tiger Balm: It has the effect of inducing dampness and jaundice, clearing heat and removing toxins (removing heat and toxins from the body), dispersing blood stasis and relieving pain. It is used for treating dampness-heat jaundice, gonorrhea, leucorrhoea, scalded by water and fire, carbuncle, swollen sores, poisonous snake bite, menstrual closure, obstruction in the abdomen, bruises, rheumatism and paralysis, and coughing due to lung heat, etc. It is also used as a medicine to relieve pain. Pregnant women should be cautious. 2. Plantain: It has the effect of clearing heat and diuretic, cooling the blood and removing toxins (refers to the treatment of blood-heat and toxicity). It is mainly used for treating heat knotting in the bladder, dysuria (irregular urination), gonorrhea (cloudy urine and leucorrhea), summer-dampness diarrhea and dysentery, epistaxis, blood in urine, liver-heat and redness in the eyes, sore throat, carbuncle, swollen sores and poisons. 3. Poria cocos: it has the effect of detoxification, removing dampness and facilitating joints. The main treatment for Yangmei poisonous sores, limb contracture, lymphatic discharge, eczema itching, carbuncle, swelling and sores. Patients with high uric acid are advised to seek medical advice promptly. Note that the efficacy of single Chinese medicine is limited, clinically it needs to be used with other Chinese medicines after identification by Chinese medicine practitioners.
