Traditionally, tumor diameter less than 5cm is considered as small liver cancer, which can be treated by surgery and medication. At present, there is no clear standard for the definition of small liver cancer, but traditionally, liver cancer with a diameter of no more than 5cm will be called small liver cancer. Some researches show that the occurrence of small liver cancer is related to liver cirrhosis, heredity, viral hepatitis, alcoholic hepatitis and other liver injuries. Patients will have pain in liver area, abdominal distension, loss of appetite, nausea and vomiting, emaciation, fatigue, fever and other manifestations. Patients can take liver transplantation, hepatectomy, as well as ablation therapy, percutaneous hepatic artery embolization chemotherapy and other therapeutic measures. Patients with small hepatocellular carcinoma can achieve more than 50% survival rate in 5 years with timely surgical treatment.
