Revision of a loose prosthesis after knee arthroplasty

The patient, a 62-year-old female, was admitted to the hospital with right knee pain for six months, which worsened for one month. The patient underwent arthroplasty 11 years ago for osteoarthritis of the right knee with satisfactory postoperative results, and in the past six months, the pain in the right knee has increased for one month. Orthopedic examination: slight swelling of the right knee joint, no local pressure pain. Range of motion: 0 degrees of extension and 90 degrees of flexion. Diagnosis: right knee joint was loosened after arthroplasty. Intraoperatively, a tibial lateral bone defect was seen, and a homogeneous allogeneic bone (bone particles made from allogeneic femoral condyles) was used as a compression bone graft. The tibial prosthesis was fixed with extension rods.
