Manifestations of closed mouth acne

Closed-mouth acne manifests as small pinpoint to pinhead-sized pimples and has a good prognosis when treated aggressively.
Closed mouth acne, also known as whitehead acne, occurs on the cheeks, forehead, chin and naso-cheek grooves and other sebaceous areas, mainly manifested as the presence of multiple small pimples on the face, often crowded into a piece, do not merge with each other, and generally no pain, itching and other discomforts.
Mild closed mouth acne generally do not need treatment, through adequate sleep, adjust the psychological state, light diet, can be significantly improved or self-healing.
Severe cases of acne vulgaris need to be treated in time to prevent acne scarring, and the treatment methods include medication, fruit acid treatment, photodynamic therapy, and so on. Commonly used medications include adapalene gel, isotretinoin, etc., all of which should be used under doctor’s supervision.
