Uneven endometrial echogenicity, a description of ultrasonography, often suggests the presence of lesions in the endometrium, which may be caused by endometritis, endometrial polyp, endometrial cancer and so on.
1. Endometritis: localized inflammation of the endometrium, due to inflammation stimulating endometrial congestion, edema and inflammatory exudate, patients may have lower abdominal pain, increased vaginal discharge and other symptoms.
2. Endometrial polyps: endometrial polyps are caused by the overgrowth of the localized endometrium of the uterus. Patients may have symptoms such as prolonged menstruation, increased menstrual flow and abnormal vaginal bleeding.
3. Endometrial cancer: it is a group of epithelial malignant tumors occurring in the endometrium. When the endometrium is involved, overgrowth may occur, and the patient may have abnormal vaginal bleeding, vaginal discharge, pain and other discomforts.
Uneven endometrial echogenicity in ultrasound examination requires timely medical consultation, further improvement of relevant examinations, clarification of the cause of the disease under the guidance of the doctor, and targeted treatment.
