What causes low body temperature

Causes of hypothermia, including physiological and pathological causes, are as follows: 1. Physiological causes: long-term low temperature environment, or the use of antipyretic drugs after fever, resulting in a large amount of sweat discharge. As well as factors such as heavy sweating after exercise; 2. Pathological causes: including anemia, hypothyroidism, etc., patients can have a low metabolic state, leading to the phenomenon of hypothermia. If the patient has no other clinical symptoms, the primary disease needs to be actively treated first. If the patient’s body temperature is lower than 35.5℃ for a long time, he/she needs to go to a regular hospital for relevant examination to clarify the cause and then treat the disease.
