Clinically there is no such thing as palm pain alerting to four diseases. Palm pain may be caused by overwork, cervical spondylosis, carpal tunnel syndrome and other reasons.
1. Overexertion: If you repeatedly do the grasping action for a long time or carry out physical labor and sports for a long time, especially when the hand activity is too much, resulting in a large accumulation of lactic acid in the palm muscles, the phenomenon of palm pain will occur.
2. Cervical spondylosis: prolonged low head work, cervical degenerative disease and other factors may induce nerve root cervical spondylosis, when the nerve root is compressed, it can cause pain in the palm of the hand, and may be accompanied by numbness of the upper limbs, neck pain and other symptoms.
3. Carpal tunnel syndrome: the median nerve is compressed in the carpal tunnel, resulting in pain from the pulling of the palmar nerve, mainly the median nerve. It is usually accompanied by carpal tunnel pressure pain, and pressure on the carpal tunnel will aggravate the pain or be accompanied by numbness in the fingers.
Patients with pain in the palm of the hand are advised to go to the hospital in time to identify the cause and take effective measures under the guidance of the doctor.
