Ointments for neurodermatitis

Neurodermatitis, or chronic lichen simplex, is treated with topical medications, mainly glucocorticoids, calcium-modulated phosphatase inhibitors, and other drugs. Glucocorticoids: Dexamethasone, triamcinolone, betamethasone, halometasone and other drugs are commonly used. Calcium-modulating phosphatase inhibitors: commonly used drugs include tacrolimus ointment, pimecrolimus ointment and so on. Other drugs: including glycerine lotion, zinc oxide lotion, phenol ointment, 10% black bean distillate ointment and so on. In addition to medications, some of the more serious cases can also use vitamin C, antihistamines such as loratadine and other systemic drugs for treatment.
