Determining major and minor triple yang is mainly based on the status of the five indicators of hepatitis B. If hepatitis B surface antigen is positive, E antigen is positive, and core antibody is positive, this is major triple yang. If the hepatitis B surface antigen is positive, E antibody is positive and core antibody is positive, this is minor triple yang. For patients with major and minor triplets, the need for treatment is also determined by the patient’s liver function and hepatitis B DNA. If a patient has normal liver function and no cirrhosis, he/she is a hepatitis B carrier, regardless of whether he/she is a major or minor triplet, and does not need special treatment, and regular review is sufficient. If the patient’s liver function is not normal, or there are already manifestations of cirrhosis, and the hepatitis B DNA is also high, antiviral treatment is needed, and the antiviral treatment cycle is at least four years, and some people need to take medication for life.
