Among the more than 140 types of HPV identified, more than 20 of them have been confirmed to be associated with malignancies, i.e. high-risk HPV types, including HPV 16, 18, 30, 31, 33, 35, 39, 45, 51, 52, 56, 58, 66, 69, etc., which are associated with cervical cancer, vulvar cancer (including female vulvar cancer and male circumcision glans), anal cancer, and extra-genital bladder cancer, esophageal cancer, lung cancer, etc. Among them, HPV 16 and HPV 18 are the most common types in cervical cancer, followed by HPV 58, HPV 52 and HPV 56.
