Symptoms of Asthma

Asthma is categorized into typical asthma and atypical asthma. Typical asthma is characterized by recurrent episodes of wheezing, shortness of breath, with or without chest tightness or cough as the main clinical symptoms, while atypical asthma is characterized by cough as the main symptom of cough variant asthma and chest tightness as the main symptom of chest tightness variant asthma.
1. Typical asthma: Typical asthma is characterized by recurrent episodes of wheezing, shortness of breath, chest tightness or coughing with or without coughing, usually at night or in the morning, which can be relieved by treatment or on their own.
2. Atypical asthma: cough variant asthma with cough as the main or only symptom, there will be no wheezing, shortness of breath and other typical asthma symptoms; and chest tightness variant asthma with chest tightness as the only or main symptom.
When suspected asthma symptoms occur, timely medical treatment should be sought to intervene as early as possible to reduce the risk of the disease.
