The generic name of Betalucil is Metoprolol Tartrate Tablets, and its usage varies when used for different diseases. If used for hypertension, 100~200mg daily, divided into 1~2 times. Metoprolol Tartrate Tablets are mainly used for the treatment of hypertension, heart failure, angina pectoris, myocardial infarction, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and other diseases. The common specification of this product is 25mg/tablet. When used for hypertension, the recommended dosage is 100~200mg per day, divided into 1~2 times. When this product is used in heart failure, it should be used in combination with digitalis and diuretics, with a starting dose of 6.25mg per dose, 2~3 times per day, after which the dose should be increased by 6.25~12.5mg every few days to a week according to the patient’s condition, and the drug should be taken 2~3 times per day. The maximum dose can be taken up to 50 to 100 mg twice a day.
