Why do you have acne?

The occurrence of acne is mainly related to excessive secretion of androgens and sebum, abnormal keratinization of the sebaceous gland ducts of hair follicles, propagation of Propionibacterium acnes, and dietary and living habits. 1. Excessive secretion of androgens and sebum: when the level of androgens in the body increases, the sebaceous glands function vigorously, resulting in a large amount of sebum secretion, and if it cannot be discharged normally, it can be stagnant, leading to the formation of acne. 2. Abnormal keratinization of follicular sebaceous gland ducts: Abnormal keratinization of follicular sebaceous gland ducts can lead to obstruction of sebum discharge, causing acne. 3. Proliferation of Propionibacterium acnes: The proliferation of microorganisms such as Propionibacterium acnes can cause chronic inflammation in the sebaceous glands of the follicles, leading to the formation of acne. 4. Diet and lifestyle habits: Eating high sugar, greasy and spicy food; staying up late for a long time; overworking; and not cleansing the skin properly can also trigger the formation of acne. The appearance of acne should be timely medical treatment, follow the doctor’s prescription medication.
