High iron granulocytes are usually due to the condition of iron granulocytic anemia. Higher than normal iron granulocytes are a common manifestation of ferrocytic anemia. It is an anemia caused by a disorder of hemoglobin synthesis due to congenital or acquired causes. The disease is characterized by impaired iron utilization in the body, resulting in a large number of round iron-granulated erythrocytes in the bone marrow, leading to erythrocyte hypofunction and excess tissue iron stores. Therefore, patients with mild symptoms can be treated with dietary modifications, iron removal therapy, and immunomodulation for relief. However, more severe cases need to be controlled with blood transfusions and treated with stem cell transplantation and removal of diseased tissue. Therefore, if a patient’s test report shows a high iron granulocyte count, he or she should go to the hospital and seek treatment as soon as possible to avoid delaying the condition.
