Effects of Deferiprone Tablets



Deferiprone tablets are an oral progestin that works to treat a variety of disorders caused by endogenous progesterone deficiency, including dysmenorrhea, endometriosis, secondary amenorrhea, irregular menstrual cycles, dysfunctional uterine bleeding, premenstrual syndrome, preeclampsia or habitual abortions, and infertility due to luteal insufficiency.

Adverse effects of Deferiprone Tablets include uterine bleeding, breast tenderness, headache, menstrual disorders, nausea, abdominal pain, and other symptoms.

In addition, it is contraindicated in patients who are allergic to the ingredients of this drug; progesterone-dependent tumors, vaginal bleeding of unknown cause, severe dysfunction, pregnancy, or application of sex hormones caused by the disease; caution in patients with acute liver disease or abnormal hepatic function; patients with galactose intolerance is contraindicated; contraindicated in the period of breastfeeding; children are not recommended; and the use of the drug in female patients older than 65 years of age is not clear.
