Red wine is generally not recommended for lung cancer.
Patients with lung cancer are recommended to drink less, or even not to drink red wine, white wine and other drinks containing alcohol during their illness. This is because wine contains a large amount of alcohol, which enters the human body and causes certain stimulation to the organism and may promote the growth of tumor cells. Drinking red wine during radiotherapy may also aggravate the adverse reaction of the digestive tract, leading to clinical symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal distension and so on.
During the period of illness, patients with lung cancer should try not to drink stimulating drinks such as red wine, coffee, liquor and beer. They should pay attention to maintaining good dietary habits and can drink fruit juice, milk and other beverages to supplement vitamins, proteins and other nutrients.
