Which has a higher cure rate, m2a or m2b?

The two subtypes of AML are m2a and m2b. m2b has an abnormal gene, AML1-ETO, which is positive, and the chromosome is t(8,21). m2b has a better prognosis of chromosomal genes, and has a higher cure rate and a higher long term survival rate compared to m2a. However, Chinese m2b is not as effective as foreigners’ m2b, and patients with m2b are often encountered in the clinic and do not survive for a long time during treatment. Therefore, AML1-ETO patients often need to measure the gene, if the positive rate decreases significantly in the course of treatment, and then gradually increases with observation, suggesting that the patient has a potential risk of relapse, and timely medical treatment, if necessary, early transplantation.
