Pituitary microadenoma is a diagnosis of pituitary lesions by MRI, which needs to be combined with other examinations and clinical manifestations for comprehensive judgment. Clinical suspicion of pituitary microadenoma can be made by MRI of pituitary gland. If nodular abnormal signal is found in the pituitary gland in the process of examination, but there is no obvious change in the overall pituitary condition, and the diagnosis of non-excluded pituitary microadenoma can not be made by imaging examination alone, and the further investigation needs to be combined with the clinical symptom as well as the comprehensive judgment of the blood test. Generally, prolactin type pituitary tumor will have hyperprolactinemia, and growth hormone type pituitary tumor will have acromegaly. If symptoms such as amenorrhea, non-lactating lactation, and enlargement of the face and hands in adults occur, patients should seek prompt medical attention, make a clear diagnosis under the guidance of the clinician, and take active treatment.
