The Directing Vessel belongs to one of the eight Channels of the Qi Meridian, and now has a total of 29 acupoints, to which the Yin Tang point has been counted. This meridian starts at the Changqiang point and ends at the Gum Jiao point, and its meridian circulation runs from the bottom to the top, passing through the perineum, sacrum, lumbar region, chest, neck, and on the median line of the head and face.
For example, the Hundred Meetings point is in the head, 5 inches straight up from the center of the front hairline; the Great Vertebrae point is in the spinal area, in the depression under the spinous process of the 7th cervical vertebrae, on the posterior midline.
