Can endometrial cancer be completely cured?

Endometrial cancer refers to cancer of the lining of the uterus. It is possible to completely eradicate endometrial cancer in its early stages.
Endometrial cancer is a group of epithelial malignant tumors occurring in the endometrium, which is one of the three major malignant tumors of female reproductive tract. Most endometrial cancers grow slowly, but some types can develop rapidly and metastasize within a short period of time, and the metastatic pathways include direct spread, lymphatic metastasis and hematogenous metastasis.
Generally speaking, the treatment of early endometrial cancer confined to the endometrium or uterine cavity without metastasis is mainly based on surgery, such as total hysterectomy and bilateral adnexectomy, after which radiotherapy, chemotherapy and other adjuvant treatments are chosen according to the condition, which have a greater possibility to achieve curative effect.
For advanced stage patients, comprehensive treatments such as surgery, radiotherapy and drugs are usually adopted, and regular follow-up is usually required after surgery for early detection of recurrent lesions.
Endometrial cancer should go to regular hospitals for consultation and active treatment.
