Is there a vaccine available for the new coronavirus?

The types of new coronavirus vaccines currently approved for conditional marketing or emergency use in China are inactivated vaccine, adenovirus vector vaccine and recombinant subunit vaccine.
The inactivated vaccine is based on the use of African green monkey kidney (Vero) cells for viral culture amplification, inactivation of the virus by beta-propanolactone, retention of antigenic components to induce an immune response, and the addition of aluminium hydroxide adjuvant to enhance immunogenicity. Two doses are recommended.
Adenovirus vector vaccine is based on the recombination of the S protein gene of the neocoronavirus into the gene of a replication-deficient human type 5 adenovirus, which expresses the S protein antigen of the neocoronavirus in vivo to induce an immune response in the body. One dose is recommended.
The recombinant subunit vaccine is based on recombination of the neocoronavirus S protein receptor binding region (RBD) gene into the Chinese hamster ovary (CHO) cell gene, which is expressed in vitro to form an RBD dimer, with the addition of aluminium hydroxide adjuvant to enhance immunogenicity. Three doses of vaccination are recommended.
Vaccination is currently the most effective means of preventing new crown infections.
