What is renal insufficiency?

Renal insufficiency may be caused by exogenous factors, renal diseases, secondary factors and so on.
1. Exogenous factors: it may be caused by trauma, surgery, bleeding, drugs and other reasons, which can lead to insufficient renal blood perfusion, decreased glomerular filtration rate, causing acute kidney injury and renal insufficiency.
2. Renal diseases: including acute glomerulonephritis, allergic interstitial nephritis, renal transplantation rejection, etc., which can cause decreased glomerular filtration rate, resulting in renal injury and renal insufficiency.
3. Secondary factors: such as diabetic nephropathy, hypertensive nephropathy, lupus nephritis and other diseases cause kidney damage, resulting in renal insufficiency.
There are many causes of renal insufficiency, so we suggest patients to go to the hospital in time, follow the doctor’s instructions to improve the examination, clarify the cause of the disease, and carry out the treatment, so as to avoid delaying the condition.
