Can Nose Cancer be Cured in Early Stage

Nasal cancer is very likely to be cured in early stage. At present, the treatment of nasal cavity malignant tumors is still mainly based on the comprehensive treatment combining radiotherapy, surgery and chemotherapy. Radiotherapy can be preferred for tumors that are sensitive to radiotherapy in the superficial nasal cavity, such as undifferentiated carcinoma or low-differentiated carcinoma, and some of them can be cured by radiotherapy alone. Tumors that are not sensitive to radiotherapy, such as melanoma, need to be considered for surgical resection. As for most nasal malignant tumors, they are often treated with radiotherapy combined with surgery. Depending on the patient’s specific situation, some are treated with radiotherapy followed by surgery, while others can be treated with surgery followed by radiotherapy. The cure rate of nasal malignant tumors can be improved by the combination of treatments, and some patients may also be considered for postoperative chemotherapy.
