Most of the breast cancers have calcification in the early stage, and mammography is the most sensitive test. However, there are some breast cancers that do not have calcification and have small nodules in the early stage, so ultrasound is the most suitable for this group of patients. But we are dealing with one patient who does not know what kind of condition she is in, so internationally, mammography plus ultrasound is the golden combination for breast cancer screening. This means that both tests should be done, not specifically to make the patient spend more money. Many patients would rather spend a lot of money on medication than to go to a few hundred dollars for a test or to choose only one of them at their own initiative. In fact, if there is no malignant sign after examination, there is no need to take medicine unless it is very painful.
