Can I wear my glasses if I have astigmatism and can’t see clearly?

When you have 50 degrees of astigmatism and feel that you can’t see clearly, you shouldn’t wear myopia glasses to correct it, but should instead wear astigmatism glasses to correct it. Astigmatism and myopia are both common types of refractive errors, both of which can cause blurred vision, especially when looking at distant objects, and need to be corrected with eyeglasses. Before correction, patients need to go to the ophthalmology department of the hospital for an optometry examination to determine the exact amount of myopia and astigmatism, as well as the axial direction of astigmatism and other indicators. Patients with myopia need to be corrected with concave lenses, also known as myopia glasses. Patients with astigmatism need to be corrected with cylindrical lenses, i.e., toric glasses. The two should not be mixed, as this may cause visual fatigue and further increase in astigmatism.
