Dysphagia refers to difficulty in swallowing or choking on drinking water caused by lesions of the muscles of the throat and the nerves innervating the muscles of the throat, mostly accompanied by unclear speech. Causes of swallowing incoordination mainly include the following aspects: First, laryngeal lesions, such as laryngeal tumors to a certain extent, after the development of dysphagia, swallowing difficulty, swallowing incoordination. Second, acute cerebrovascular disease, such as infarction of the brainstem, cerebellar infarction or hemorrhage, which affects the nucleus accumbens and the glossopharyngeal vagus nerve, resulting in choking on drinking water and unclear spitting, and even accompanied by difficulty in swallowing.
