Abdominal pain with significant diarrhea is considered to be an intestinal infection, which occurs seasonally, especially in the summer and autumn. It occurs in relation to diet, especially when the food consumed is contaminated, or after consuming cold drinks, and overeating. It is due to localized inflammatory irritation of the intestinal tract and significant exudation from the intestinal lumen, leading to diarrhea. Spasmodic pain can also occur with excessive intestinal peristalsis and, in severe cases, with significant nausea, vomiting, and even fever. Enteritis should be treated aggressively because severe diarrhea can also lead to fluid loss shock and disturbance of the internal environment. In the acute phase, anti-infective treatment should be chosen, with intravenous fluid supplementation and, if necessary, water fasting. Physical therapy such as localized hot compresses, or massage can also be used to reduce symptoms.
