Multiple nodular shadows in the right lung on CT means that the lungs show multiple nodular changes on CT. Lung nodular disease, lung cancer, and benign tumors of the lungs can be manifested in this way. CT shows nodules and masses in exceptionally clear detail, allowing careful analysis of the morphology, internal structure, and marginal signs, which can help the doctor make a diagnosis of the disease. If CT examination reveals nodules or masses in the lungs in the basic pathologic form, those less than or equal to 3 cm are called nodules, and those larger than 3 cm are called masses, so the presence of multiple nodules on the right side of the lungs means that there are multiple ≤3 cm pathological mass-like changes in the lungs. Patients who find multiple nodular shadows in their right lungs on physical examination are advised to go to the Department of Thoracic Surgery or the Department of Respiratory Medicine in time for further examination and prompt treatment after clarifying the cause of the disease, so as not to delay the condition.
