2. Formula: The famous Chinese medicine formula San Zi Nourishing Relatives Tang is composed of Zisu Zi, Bai Zhi Zi, Lai Xiao Zi and other medicines, which have the effects of warming the lungs, resolving phlegm, lowering the qi, and eliminating food. It is mainly used for treating phlegm, congestion of qi and food stagnation syndrome, which is characterized by coughing and wheezing, excessive phlegm and chest congestion, and difficulty in eliminating food, with white and greasy tongue coating and slippery pulse. The medicines in this formula can be put into warm boiled water to make tea to treat white phlegm, but the efficacy is not as good as decocting the medicines.
The adverse effects of the above formula are not known. Patients coughing up white phlegm are advised to consult a doctor in time to identify the cause of the disease and standardize the treatment. It is not advisable to self-medicate to avoid delaying the condition.
