The sound inside the stomach is an intestinal rumbling sound, where peristalsis of the gastrointestinal tract causes a continuous gurgling sound with the consequent flow of gas and fluid in the intestinal canal. Frequent such sounds may be caused by inflammation, such as acute enteritis, pelvic abscess, inter-intestinal abscess, or early stage of mechanical intestinal obstruction, such as intestinal torsion and intussusception. In case of intestinal necrosis and peritonitis, active surgical treatment is required. There is also blood accumulation in the intestinal canal, seen in ulcer and bleeding, bleeding from ruptured varices of esophagogastric fundus or hunger with abdominal pain and loud bowel sounds. Patients are advised to go to the hospital for examination to determine the cause before treatment. Following the doctor’s way of reasonable medication is more conducive to the relief of the disease. If the condition is serious enough to require surgical treatment, follow the doctor’s instructions.
