Kidney Qi deficiency is mainly a TCM term. TCM says that Yang plus Yin is Qi, and Kidney Qi is produced on the basis of Kidney Yang and Kidney Yin. Deficiency of kidney qi, insufficient kidney qi, failure to consolidate the jingguan or kidney pelvis, usually results in slippery sperm or premature ejaculation. In pregnant women, deficiency of kidney qi or fetal qi may lead to fetal movement or miscarriage.
