Normal liver function cannot exclude liver cancer. Liver function is multi-faceted and complex, the liver has strong compensatory function, only when the liver is damaged to a certain extent, abnormal liver function will occur, thus normal liver function cannot exclude liver cancer. Therefore, normal liver function cannot exclude liver cancer. Liver function may be normal in early stage liver cancer, so liver function cannot be used as an indicator to exclude liver cancer. The diagnosis of hepatocellular carcinoma should be comprehensively judged by combining medical history, liver function, alpha-fetoprotein and imaging examination. The first choice for liver cancer screening is alpha-fetoprotein and liver ultrasound. Early detection, early diagnosis and early treatment are effective measures to deal with liver cancer. Once diagnosed with liver cancer, it is necessary to seek medical treatment in time and actively treat it to avoid delaying the condition.
