How is sleep assessed?

  (1) Feeling difficulty in falling asleep; it takes about an hour or more to fall asleep. (2) When lying in bed, many things are still on your mind. (3) When waking up in the middle of the night, it is difficult to fall asleep again; waking up too early in the morning. (4) Even after a full night’s sleep, you still feel tired when you wake up in the morning. (5) Feeling depressed when unable to fall asleep. (6) Even when you can fall asleep, you dream continuously throughout the night and wake up very tired in the morning. If you have had any of these symptoms within the past year, you may have insomnia problems and should consider being seen by a doctor.
