Blowing your nose in the morning with blood always in one nostril may be caused by bad habits, or by environmental factors or diseases.
1. Bad habits: picking your nose can cause strong stimulation of the capillaries in the nasal cavity, leading to local capillary rupture, causing bleeding.
2. Environmental factors: Nasal capillaries become fragile and easily ruptured in dry and cold environments, resulting in bleeding when blowing the nose.
3. Disease factors
(1) Deviated nasal septum: the mucous membrane on the surface of the raised area of deviated nasal septum becomes thin, and it is easy for the mucous membrane to erode when stimulated by the airflow, which leads to bleeding in one side of the nasal cavity.
(2) Nasal foreign body: When there is a foreign body in the nasal cavity, it will stimulate the blood vessels, resulting in blood when blowing the nose.
(3) Unilateral nasal swelling: including nasal papilloma, nasal polyps, nasal hemangioma and other diseases, the blood vessels in the swelling can be stimulated and bleed.
(4) Fungal sinusitis: When you have fungal sinusitis, you will have symptoms such as blood in the secretion, yellow pus nasal discharge and nasal congestion.
If you blow your nose in the morning and one side of the nostril is always bloody, it is recommended to go to the hospital for a clear diagnosis and treatment.
