Women with sacrococcygeal pain may have the following conditions:1. Post-traumatic caudal vertebral fracture or sacrococcygeal subluxation may cause persistent pain in the sacrococcygeal area.2. Young women with soft birth canal injuries during labor may experience sacrococcygeal pain during puerperal recovery.3. Herniated discs or foraminal stenosis of lower lumbar vertebrae may cause pain in the saddle area by compressing the cauda equina nerve.4. Pelvic space-occupying lesions in women may compress the Sensory nerve, may appear sacrococcygeal pain. In order to clarify the condition first need to understand the history of trauma, improve the sacrococcygeal spine X-ray film, if necessary, improve the sacrococcygeal CT and nuclear magnetic examination. If it is caused by trauma or disc herniation, or intervertebral foraminal stenosis, it should be treated with strict bed rest and symptomatic supportive therapy. If the injury is caused by obstetrics and gynecology, the obstetrics and gynecology department should be consulted for further treatment, and if it is caused by space-occupying lesions, the oncology department should be consulted for further treatment.
